The studies were developed during the year 2016; The main objective of the work is to analyze the aspects that affect the inadequate protection of the environment in Ecuador, specifically in the municipality of Quevedo, based on the implementation of the current environmental legislation, given the social problems in this area Are required by not complying with the legal regulations established in this regard. The research is carried out in the descriptive field with a qualitative approach. Research methods of the theoretical level were used such as: analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and logical-historical, and from the empirical level, the observation and revision of documents were taken into account , And the questionnaire.
