RESUMEN

¿Qué pasa con la persona que cumple una sentencia, y al cabo de meses o años obtiene su libertad? Como la sociedad recibe a este individuo; seriamos capaces de ofrecerle trabajo u oportunidades de desarrollarse como una persona productiva a la sociedad y al país.  El rol del Estado tiene mucho que ver en el tema, ¿están cumpliendo los gobiernos de turno con la rehabilitación de las personas privadas de la libertad?  Por costumbres e ideologías, hemos logrado estigmatizar a un ex recluso; a esta persona se lo mira como inferior en la clase social, no apto para volver a reinsertase a la sociedad, no apto para laborar pues nos invade la desconfianza, ya que se cree que quien es sentenciado a cumplir una pena por distintos tipos de delitos dentro de una cárcel, saldrá con más perfeccionamiento para delinquir, por lo que la sociedad actúa con rechazo, a brindar una oportunidad a los ex reos.   Por estadísticas, se conoce que las cárceles se han vuelto en hacinamiento de personas, y que el sistema penitenciario actual del Ecuador, no cumple con los objetivos fundamentales de nuestra Constitución, y no se apega a considerar a la persona privada de la libertad como grupo vulnerable y prioritario.

Abstract

What happens to the person who fulfills a sentence, and after months or years gets his freedom? How society receives this individual; we would be able to offer him work or opportunities to develop as a productive person to society and to the country. The role of the State has much to do with the issue, are the current governments fulfilling the rehabilitation of persons deprived of their liberty? By customs and ideologies, we have managed to stigmatize a former inmate; this person is seen as inferior in the social class, unable to reintegrate back into society, unable to work because we are invaded by distrust, since it is believed that who is sentenced to serve a sentence for different types of crimes Within a prison, it will leave with more perfection to commit a crime, so society acts with rejection, to provide an opportunity to the ex-prisoners. By statistics, it is known that prisons have become overcrowded, and that the current penitentiary system of Ecuador does not comply with the fundamental objectives of our Constitution, and is not attached to considering the person deprived of liberty as a vulnerable group and priority.
