BIM in Infrastructure Projects

Building Information Modeling (BIM) has made one of the most significant and fundamental enhancements in the construction industry and has led to more in-depth collaboration among project stakeholders. Large infrastructure projects differ from other construction projects, mainly because of size, location, levels of interfacing, complexity, and time frame. Coordinating such intense projects challenge, particularly across multiple teams and numerous stakeholders However, Building Information Modeling (BIM) helped to resolve some of these difficulties by facilitating a collaborative environment. BIM for infrastructure projects helps ensure the efficiency and accuracy of large-scale infrastructure projects design and implementation phases, in addition to the management of these projects. This research is aimed to explore the benefits and importance of implementing BIM in an infrastructure project for stakeholders through analyzing Five international projects and investigating how the utilization of BIM enhanced the processes during projects’ stages from design, construction, and operation. It was found that, amongst the various obstacles of implementing BIM practices the prime factor is the rarity of qualified BIM personnel in construction field; however, the near future promises to use BIM systems on a large scale in infrastructure projects.

Neutrosophic Mathematical Model of Product Mixture Problem Using Binary Integer Mutant

Linear programming problems with integers, are issues in which some or all decision  variables are restricted to be their values are correct values, and  here  these models can  be solved by neglecting the constraints of integers and then rotating the fractional values of the optimal solution to obtain correct values, paying attention to the need for the resulting solution to belong to the accepted solutions area, but this procedure can lead to the desired purpose if the number of variables is small, but if there is a number We do not guarantee to obtain an optimal correct solution for the model, even if all the solution combinations are tested, knowing that in the model that contains a variable n a set of solutions 2n must be tried, and if we can rotate, the correct solution will be an approximate solution, in order to obtain more accurate integer values, we present in this research a study in which we use binary integer variables to build the neutrosophic linear mathematical model. The importance of this study lies in providing solutions to many practical problems that require solutions with integers and we will clarify all the above by building a mathematical model for the problem of the mixture of products using binary integer variables and neutrosophic values.

A Neutrosophic Model for Identifying and Analyzing the Effect of Relational Leadership on Information Security Policy Compliance: A Case Study of the Hotel Industry

Leaders at hotels are keen to learn how to improve staff adherence to their newly implemented information security rules in the wake of a spate of events involving the compromise of sensitive customer data. In this research, we analyze the relationship between workers' compliance intentions and their perceptions of deterrence, and the leadership styles of their bosses. Gender, education, role, tenure based on ethical leadership, and information security policy compliance intention were some of the particular leadership aspects connected to the information security policy that were evaluated in our research. The overall relevance of the standards may be calculated using the average method, which is used in decision-making. The suggested novel version of the MULTIMOORA (Multi-objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis Plus Full Multiplicative Form) approach uses a single-valued neutrosophic set to handle directly with the uncertainty of the starting point. Developing a decision-support system that takes into account the new conceptual composite framework we offer for selecting criteria, alternatives, and other aspects of leadership and information security policy in hotels is a feasible next step.

Survival Function Estimation for Fuzzy Gompertz Distribution with neutrosophic data

A relatively recent area of research known as neutrosophic statistics deals with data that are ambiguous, indeterminate, and inconsistent. By embracing the idea of neutrosophy, which denotes the existence of three components in a statement: truth, falsity, and indeterminacy, it broadens the application of classical statistics. One of the significant offshoots of statistics is life-time data analysis. Traditional statistical methods only account for variation within the data and calculate lifetime observations as accurate numbers. Actually, there are two different kinds of uncertainty in data: fluctuation between observations and fuzziness. As a result, analysis techniques that solely employ precise lifetime data and ignore fuzziness use incomplete information and produce false results. This paper sought to generalize hazard rates, survival functions, and parameter estimates for fuzzy Gompertz Distribution. Simulation studies are implemented to examine the performance of the fuzzy Gompertz Distribution. The results show that the fuzzy Gompertz Distribution has better flexibility in handling over the standard Gompertz Distribution.

Success Factors in Adopting AI in Human Resource Management in UAE Firms: Neutrosophic Analysis

The revolutionary breakthroughs of artificial intelligence (AI) are swiftly and extensively invading many domains of human activity, serving as the central driving force of the next wave of informatization progress and industrial revolution. Although artificial intelligence (AI) technology and apps have been extensively explored, and variables affecting AI acceptance have been found, the influence of success factors on the acceptance of AI is still unclear. Thus, this study presents a methodology to investigate the effects of gadgets, organizations, and ecosystems on the acceptance of AI in Human Resource Management (HRM) in the UAE. This study used a neutrosophic set (NS) to overcome the vague information. The NS is integrated with the AHP method to rank the success factors in adopting AI in HRM in UAE. The AHP method is used to give importance to these factors. This study used 12 factors in UAE to rank it by the N-AHP.

A Smart Architecture Leveraging Fog Computing Fusion and Ensemble Learning for Prediction of Gestational Diabetes

Gestational diabetes (GD) is a growing global concern, underscoring the need for early detection and effective management to prevent adverse health consequences. This paper presents an innovative and reliable architecture to predict gestational diabetes in pregnant women. While reducing the frequency of doctor visits by sending the necessary data via Internet of Things (IoT) technology and receiving the prediction results via a mobile application in real time. The proposed architecture is a fusion of fog computing hardware with ensemble machine learning to enable low-latency, energy-efficient solutions for data processing, and cloud computing. The GD_Fog architecture leverages fused fog computing and load balancing techniques to reduce latency, power consumption, Network bandwidth consumption, and response time, and cloud computing is used based on the concept of use on demand for more reliability while harnessing the power of group learning to improve prediction accuracy. In addition, GD_Fog can be configured for different operating modes to ensure optimal quality of service and prediction accuracy in various fog calculation scenarios, which meet different user requirements. Through extensive testing using real-world data from pregnant women, the framework shows promising results, outperforming the latest methods in accuracy and efficiency. Where the percentage of improvement in prediction accuracy was approximately 6.5% when using ensemble learning, and the improvement in energy use, amounted to approximately 87.01% when using fused fog computing instead of cloud computing. These results confirm the potential of the proposed structure as an invaluable tool for the early detection and effective management of gestational diabetes.

A Study of the Eigenvalues of the Matrix Of Distance Reciprocals in K[r, n-r] And The Cycle C_n

This paper Deals with the complete bipartite graph K(r, n-r) and the cycle . The matrix of concern is the matrix B which is the (n, n) matrix and whose non zero entries are the reciprocals of the non zero entries of the distance matrix D. A complete characterization of the spectrum of B and a set of n independent eigenvectors of B will be presented. Two special cases will be mentioned, namely the star K(1, n-1) and the graph K(2, n-2). We will also look at the case of infinite graph, i. e if the size n grows big while r stays finite. Finally, some numerical data will be presented. As for the cycle, we present the complete set of eigenvalues of the matrix B.
