Sustainable Management for the Architectural Heritage in Intelligent Cities using MCDM methods

The success of sustainable management of the heritage building in an intelligent city is a difficult multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) issue including the coexistence of conflicting elements. There is an issue with incomplete decision information utilization and information loss throughout the decision-making process, and the interaction difficulty in a fuzzy environment is easy to miss. This paper provides a hybrid MCDM framework that combines the spherical fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (SF-AHP). The SF-AHP is used to assess the significance levels of building heritage. To use the stage MCDM model, a thorough set of assessment criteria based on the notion of sustainable development has been identified via literature research and expert interviews. To assess the efficacy of the suggested strategy, an application is done in this paper. Using the decision framework, the building heritage in intelligent cities has been identified. The suggested technique may be utilized to achieve management of the building heritage in intelligent cities.

Trust Aware Manta Ray Foraging Optimization based Secure Routing Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

In Wireless sensor network (WSN) is a different type of ad-hoc network has of battery powered minimum cost sensor node with restricted computation and communication abilities used densely from a target region. The routing in WSN roles is an essential part due to their inherent energy storing ability and is suitable to extremely scalable networks. The trust in WSN roles an essential play in creating the network and addition or deletion of sensor nodes in a network very smooth and translucent. The trust was formalized as a computational method. This study develops a novel Trust Aware Manta Ray Foraging Optimization based Secure Routing (TAMRFO-SR) protocol for WSN. The proposed TAMRFO-SR model accomplishes optimal and secure routes for WSN. In addition, the TAMRFO-SR model is mainly stimulated by the fascinating characteristics of manta rays. Besides, the TAMRFO-SR model derives a fitness function with multiple parameters for secure route selection process. Moreover, the inclusion of trust in the route selection process assists in accomplishing enhanced security. The design of TAMRFO-SR model for secure data transmission depicts the novelty of the study. The experimental validation of the TAMRFO-SR model demonstrates better performance over the other approaches.

An analytical approach for evaluating sustainable supply chain solutions during the COVID-19 pandemic: Benefits and better explanations

The influence of COVID-19 has been felt in many facets of personal and professional life. As a result of the international economic crisis and the pandemic's consequences, major supply chains (SCs) have been disrupted. Our study intends to examine the effect of COVID-19 on SCs and help organizations choose options depending on their relative relevance. Phase one and phase two of the investigation are the most important. As a first step in strengthening SCs' ability to withstand the pandemic, Phase 2 examines the difficulties, concerns, actions, and solutions that have been encountered so far. As part of this phase, a MARCOS method is proposed to select solutions that address the complex interrelationships that are involved in decision-making. Positive and negative solutions are considered and it is at the start of the creation of a preliminary matrix, utility degree is determined closer to both solutions, a new method of determining utility functions and their aggregates is proposed, and the method is stable enough to take into account a huge list of conditions and alternatives. Using this approach, decision-makers will be able to more properly weigh the relevance and influence of many options before making a final choice. The findings suggest that SCs should continue to rely on innovation to endure potential competition and disasters.

An intelligent model to identify industry 4.0, IoT and circular economy adoption barriers

In the industry 4.0 idea, new cutting-edge techniques like the Internet of Things (IoT) are advocated. There is still a long way to go before IoT is widely adopted in the circular economy. The goal of this research is to identify the most significant impediments to the integration of IoT in the circular economy in the manufacturing industry. For this purpose, survey research was carried out to provide a framework for the assessment of the hurdles to IoT adoption in the circular economy. This led to a new approach that combines the SWARA and TOPSIS methodologies based on MCDM.  The SWARA model is employed to compute the weights of criteria, while the TOPSIS approach is used to rank different manufacturing businesses under the identified obstacles.

Development of the hybrid MCDM model for cloud computing adoption strategic management

With the widespread use of distributed alternative energy sources, electric cars, energy storage systems, and technologies like Cloud Computing (CC), Big Data, and the IoT, energy management in CC contexts has developed. Concerns about the Energy Cloud's performance goals are presented in this fashion as a major development point (EC). The aims of this essay include identifying key FPVs and how they relate to issues in EC, as well as formulating an approach to overseeing the growth and maturity of EC settings. Through literature research, FPVs were identified as well as their influence on each other. It was determined that those FPVs were an important, secondary, motivational factor, and independent voters by using the AHP approach. An all-encompassing management model for EC is presented in the article, and it can be used as a compass for making strategic choices on technical, organizational, commercial, and regulatory matters. This model may be tailored to the specifics of the business landscape and its breadth.

Proposed Architecture Diagrams for developing an electronic system based on block chain technology to secure confidential data in university

The current system inside Egyptian universities s relies on the minimum and traditional methods of securing data that do not keep pace with the current digital development. Therefore, the education sector needs to take advantage of the advantages of block chain technology in securing and encrypting data from the risks of hacking and leakage of records. Through the above, an electronic system for generating a data encryption key based on block chain technology and the AES algorithm has been proposed.

A Study of Multicast Routing Protocols Based MOSPE and DVMRP

Today’s networks are designed to reliably transmit traffic such as data from point to point i.e., unicasting, or from point to multipoint i.e., broadcasting. Multimedia places further demands on the network. First of all, multimedia traffic, such as audio or video, cannot tolerate delays in delivery like those tolerable by plain data transfer applications. Multimedia requires that data packets arrive on time and in the proper order at the client-side. Real-time protocols and quality of service guarantees addresses this issue. Furthermore, multimedia requires transmitting a large amount of traffic over the network and thus uses far more of the network’s bandwidth than in the case of those basic network operations. Multicasting offers a far more efficient way of transmitting such traffic over the Internet than unicasting or broadcasting ever would. The subject of this paper addresses the issue of efficient routing of such multicast traffic.

Smart Parking System with IoT

Based on the findings of leading analytics organizations, an average person living in a metropolitan city wastes around 17 hours each year by driving around trying to find a parking spot. In this paper, we will be attempting to solve this problem by using a microcontroller module and IR sensors that work in tandem with an IoT (Internet of Things) system. The prototype consists of a NodeMCU ESP8266 wifi module with a built-in microcontroller and 5 IR sensors. The microcontroller module receives the data gathered by the 5 IR sensors, two of which are placed at the entrance and exit gates while the other three are placed at the respective parking spots to detect whether that spot is occupied or not. The microcontroller module then uploads the received data to the IoT system which then uses the data to guide the driver to a free parking spot. When implementing this concept, we find that the driver experiences a much less tedious and much more time-efficient process when parking his/her vehicle.
