Building a New Semantic Social Network Using Semantic Web-Based Techniques

 Most people are more or less related to the web by participating in a kind of social networking site. Semantic Web technology plays a crucial role in these sites as they contain an enormous amount of data about ‎persons, pages, events, places, corporations, etc. This research is a Semantic Web application designed to create a new ‎semantic social community called Socialpedia. It links the already existing social public information to the newly ‎public ones. This information is linked with different information on the web to construct a new immense ‎data container. The resulting data container can be processed using a variety of Semantic Web techniques to produce ‎machine-understandable content. This content shows the promise of using integrated data to improve Web search and ‎Web-scale data analysis, unlike conventional search engines or social ones. This community involves obtaining data ‎from traditional users known as contributors or participants, linking data from existing social networks, extracting ‎structured data in triples using predefined ontologies, and finally querying and inferring such data to obtain ‎meaningful pieces of information. Socailpedia supports all popular functionalities of social networking websites ‎besides the enhanced features of the Semantic Web, providing advanced semantic search that acts as a semantic ‎search engine.

Introduction to Neutrosophic Reliability Theory

  Reliability is one of the most important indicators of the quality of any system or product, ranging from the simplest machines as a product in any factory to the most complex system, such as phone or aircraft or missile engines, etc. The accuracy of these products indicates their high reliability, and therefore the customer or business owner will have confidence in products and will request more quantity. To reach the highest level of accuracy for the reliability of any system, the corresponding data must be very accurate. For this purpose, we proposed to add accuracy to reliability by adding data that contains more pieces of information about a  specific product or problem. We introduced a new logic (Neutrosophic logic) of data instead of classical logic which gives us more accuracy of data that contain indeterminacy such as extremist, vague, and unclear data. We defined the neutrosophic reliability according to the modern neutrosophic logic by constructing a neutrosophic reliability function. We have used the type of series as an application of neutrosophic reliability and introduced some examples. Neutrosophic reliability theory can be applied in computer science and decision support systems.

Impact of Cyber Attack on Saudi Aramco

  Saudi Aramco is the world’s leading oil producer based in Saudi Arabia. Around 1/10th of oil is exported from this organization to the world. Oil production is the major source of revenue for Saudi Arabia and its economy relies completely on it. The Shamoon virus attacked Saudi Aramco in August 2012. The country receives over 80% to 90% of total revenues from the exports of oil and contributes over 40% of the GDP [8]. Shamoon spread from the company's network and removed all of the hard drives. The company was limited only to office workstations and the software was not affected by the virus, due to which all technical operations could have been affected. It was the most disastrous cyber attack in the history of Saudi Arabia. Around 30,000 workstations had been infected by the virus. This paper also discusses the effects of Ransomware which recently attacked Aramco. Apart from that, we will also discuss some suggestions and security measures to prevent those attacks.

Audit, Validation, Verification and Assessment for Safety and Security Standards

Internal auditing is important for ensuring compliance to multiple safety and security standards. The problem is that although safety and security have similarities when it comes to auditing, they also have differences that makes auditing both areas under the same process difficult. This paper has shown how to overcome those differences and leverage the similarities to create one auditing process for both safety and security. The paper has harmonized the different terminology between safety and security and showed how the new auditing process can allow compliance to IEC 61508, ISO 27001 and IEC 62443.

H-Max Single-Valued Neutrosophic Distance Measure in Medical Diagnosis

As an instance of a neutrosophic set, a single-valued neutrosophic set (SVNS) can be used to handle uncertainty, inaccuracy, indeterminacy, and inconsistency. In this paper, a new not-so-sophisticated distance measure between two SVNSs is defined by considering the cross-assessment between characteristic functions for the forward and backward differences. Furthermore, a single-valued neutrosophic similarity measure, a single-valued neutrosophic entropy measure, and their basic properties are presented and proven. In addition, an application to medical diagnosis is shown to illustrate the effective applicability of the proposals.

Then neutrosophic soft tri-open and tri-closed sets are defined and in this space. Also, some basic properties of these new types of open and closed sets are investigated and supported by many examples to further clarify the study.

Exploratory Data Analysis on Username-Password Dataset

Passwords act as a first line of defense against any malicious or unauthorized access to one's personal information. With the increasing digitization, it has now become even more important to choose strong passwords. In this paper, the authors analyze a 100 million Email-Password Database to perform Exploratory Data Analysis. The analysis provides valuable insights on statistics about the most common passwords being used, character set of passwords, most common domains, average length, password strength, frequencies of letters, numbers, symbols (special characters), most common letter, most common number, most common symbol, the ratio of letters, numbers, symbols in passwords which highlights the general trend that users follow while creating passwords. Using the results of this paper, users can make intelligent decisions while creating passwords for themselves, i.e., not opting for the most common features that will help them create robust and less vulnerable passwords.

Vehicle License Plate Recognition

One of the most significant parts of integrating computer technologies into intelligent transportation systems (ITS) is vehicle license plate recognition (VLPR). In most cases, however, to recognize a license plate successfully, the location of the license plate is to be determined first. Vehicle License Plate Recognition systems are used by law enforcement agencies, traffic management agencies, control agencies, and various government and non-government agencies. VLPR is used in various commercial applications, including electronic toll collecting, personal security, visitor management systems, parking management, and other corporate applications. As a result, calculating the correct positioning of a license plate from a vehicle image is an essential stage of a VLPR system, which substantially impacts the recognition rate and speed of the entire system. In the fields of intelligent transportation systems and image recognition, VLPR is a popular topic. In this research paper, we address the problem of license plate detection using a You Only Look Once (YOLO)-PyTorch deep learning architecture. In this research, we use YOLO version 5 to recognize a single class in an image dataset.

Control system for automatic brakes using ultra sonic sensor

We see that many automobile accidents are becoming a significant safety problem in the current society. Both human and animal lives are damaged by vehicle collisions. Due to breaking problems and quick response times when there is an impediment, more crashes happen. Therefore, the automated braking system for cars is presented in this work. Consumers are increasingly using their cellphones and the internet to make direct purchases rather than going to conventional brick-and-mortar establishments. Thanks to the internet, conducting business has never been quicker or easier than it is right now. A transmitter and a receiver are part of an ultrasonic system that is positioned in front of the vehicle. Life’s price cannot be calculated. This device measures the distance between obstacles using an ultrasonic sensor and notifies the driver when one is present. This essay also demonstrates the automated microcontroller's operation. The car will automatically stop when the safe separation distance is achieved. Its typical response time is 0.90 seconds, and its typical error rate based on the actual distance of the barrier is 11.2 seconds.

A multi criteria decision making methodology to select best supplier in healthcare industry

Businesses all across the globe are adopting sustainable supply chain practises in an effort to lessen their impact on the environment. Towards reaching that aim, suppliers in healthcare have a crucial role in creating a sustainable supply chain. One of the difficulties in achieving sustainability in supplier selection is the use of competing criteria. The use of several factors in making decisions is essential for sustainable supplier selection (MCDM). This study introduce the Multi-Attributive Border Approximation area Comparison (MABAC) methodology to select best supplier in healthcare industry.  The standards and substitutions are collected from the previous works. The weights of criteria are computed, then the alternatives are ranked by the MABAC method. MABAC is a common MCDM methodology for ordering substitutions. The criteria and substitutions are included the vague and incomplete data and information, so the nutrosophic environment is used to overcome uncertainty. The single valued neutrosophic numbers are used in the computations in this work.
